Sandra Wild (born March 10, 1984 ) is a Swiss singer . It was in Switzerland only through the talent show Musicstar known had previously been but a career in Japan.

Career

Early career

From 2000 to 2002, the record label Oliver M. Management released three Wild singles in Japan. Her stage name was Sun'dra . The Japanese record label Trident Style also signed Wild under the pseudonym Sun'dra . In 2004 their first album Hi, this is Sun'dra was released. Because it was successful, a decision was made for a second album, which also landed in the charts in 2005 under the name What would they say (my little secret) . In 2006 her last album by Trident Style was released. It was called Sun'dra . After Musicstar, the music label Laser Paradise released the album Go Wild, Japan , a collection of songs from the three previous albums.

Time at Musicstar

In 2006 Wild took part in MusicStar . She passed the auditions, but was initially only sent into the race as a candidate for hope. There she had to prevail against Mike Marfurt and Tiziana Serafini. In the final broadcast, she reached second place.

Current projects

In 2007 Wild accompanied the a cappella group a-live on their tour with Das Zelt . From the end of 2007 to 2009 Wild worked on the recordings for her solo album. She recorded the album in the Hardstudios in Winterthur , where she also recorded songs with the other finalists for Musicstar. The new album was supposed to be released in 2009 but the release was postponed. Since February 2009, Sandra Wild can also be seen in the lead role in the musical Sanskaja .

Collaborations with house DJs

For some time now, Sandra Wild has appeared as a singer in house productions. The song Sunshine (Fly So High) is an example of this. It was recorded with Swiss house DJ Mike Candys and was released as a single on June 15, 2012. Sunshine (Fly So High) was able to place itself in the Swiss charts and climbed to number 21. The single also entered the German and Austrian charts. Sandra Wild is the only Music Star candidate who was able to place a single in the charts of all three German-speaking countries.
