Sandro José Ferreira da Silva (born March 19, 1986 in Iaçu ) is a Brazilian football player on the position of midfielder .

Career

After winning the title with Brazil at the U-17 World Cup in Finland in 2003 , he was unable to assert himself properly either at his home club CR Vasco da Gama or EC Vitória . In 2008 he went abroad to SK Austria Kärnten . He made his debut for the Carinthians on July 19, 2008 against Rapid Vienna . After 60 minutes he had to be replaced because of a shoulder injury. He played partly world-class football, but since the bankruptcy of SK Austria Kärnten at the end of the 2009/10 season he was looking for a club.

For the 2011/12 season he moves to the Czech Republic to Dynamo České Budějovice. On July 7, 2013, SV Ried announced the commitment of the Brazilian, who was able to celebrate his comeback in the Austrian Bundesliga in the 2013/14 season. Despite three goals in 28 games for Upper Austria, the contract was not extended in the summer of 2014. After six months without a club, Sandro was signed by SKN St. Pölten in January 2015. The midfielder received the number 11 and signed a contract until summer 2015. However, the club has the option to extend the working paper for one year.
