The Sandruper See is a quarry pond in the Westphalian city of Münster . It is located in the north of the city between the Kinderhaus and Sprakel districts in the middle of the Sandrup peasantry . Its length is around 550 meters and the width varies between 140 and 300 meters. The water area is around 11 hectares . Since 1966, the Sandruper See has been managed by the fishing club VFG Frühauf Münster , which also owns around half of the lake.
