Sandy Marton (* 1. January 1950 , another source gives the 10. April 1959 on, in Zagreb , civil Aleksandar Marton ) is a Croatian Italo Disco - musicians . His American father was a diplomat .

biography

The debut single under the pseudonym Sandy Marton, Ok Run , was released in 1983. The second single , People from Ibiza , described both content and music the lifestyle of the Mediterranean island and became the summer hit of 1984 throughout Europe . The successor single Exotic and Erotic was placed in Spring 1986 in the German single charts , White Storm in the Jungle a short time later in the Swiss hit parade . The album Modern Lovers was released in the same year.

2005 Marton went once on a club tour, released a best-of album and was a participant at the Rai-2 - reality show L'Isola dei famosi .
