Areas of responsibility
The services of the Sankt Rochus Clinics usually follow on from conservative therapies and operations in acute hospitals and are provided in cooperation with all cost carriers ( German pension insurance , professional associations, statutory and private health insurance ). Multi-dimensional, interdisciplinary therapies to limit and overcome physical and psychological limitations characterize the medical rehabilitation of clinics. The aim is to promote participation in life in society, especially in family, work and career.
As part of the neurological phase model, the range of treatments includes the rehabilitation phases B to D. The clinics are a planned hospital for neurological early rehabilitation (phase B) with ten beds for intensive care patients requiring ventilation. Geriatric rehabilitation covers the entire needs of the Karlsruhe district . The cooperation of the department enables the treatment of multimorbid elderly patients to avoid or shorten hospital treatment.

history
Medicinal springs in the Bad Langenbrücken and Bad Mingolsheim districts of today's Bad Schönborn were known to the farmers in the area for centuries. Prince-Bishop Franz Christoph von Hutten built the first bathhouse in 1766 . Well drilling in 1905 led to the discovery of the St. Rochus sulfur spring and the construction of the Mingolsheim sulfur bath . The Caritas Association Ludwigshafen acquired the spa in 1922. The Center for Rehabilitation Sankt Rochus Kliniken was created through continuous further development of the medical offer.
