The Caritas Trägergesellschaft Saarbrücken (cts), based in Saarbrücken, is a social service company of the Roman Catholic Church and part of the cts association.

history

Caritas Trägergesellschaft Saarbrücken mbH (cts) was founded in 1992 as a subsidiary of the Caritas Association for Saarbrücken and the Surrounding Area. In accordance with its designation as a facility management company, cts took over the sponsorship of the Caritas Clinic St. Theresia and other facilities that had been managed by the Caritas Association on January 1, 1993. The cts was founded in order to create a clear distinction between open social work and the top-level tasks of the Caritas Association for Saarbrücken and the surrounding area from closed facility work and to achieve a clear conceptual, structural and economic division.

In its mission statement, the cts has laid down the orientation towards Jesus Christ and his message . Following his example, the church service company is committed to helping people in need in the areas of health, care for the elderly, children and youth as well as education. The Caritas carrier company Saarbrücken consists of eight companies:

As a carrier, cts 34 maintains its own facilities in the areas of health as well as youth , disabled and elderly care . In addition, there are cooperation agreements and joint sponsorship of other social institutions. The cts carrier center in Saarbrücken is the management center of the affiliated institutions and companies. As a social-charitable management holding company, it also offers the facilities technical and organizational support and provides service functions such as finance, IT, construction, law, education and communication.

Training

To 325 places the schools of cts-network is formed by health and nursing , health and nursing assistants , midwives or obstetric nurse , speech therapist and geriatric nurse and geriatric care helpers from. Furthermore, Haus Christophorus has around 50 apprenticeships in housekeeping, rehabilitation technology and as reintegration measures. Basic, advanced and advanced training courses are offered at the St. Hildegard School Center, the Mission Statement and Ethics Unit of the Caritas Association Saarbrücken, the Nardini nursing school of the Vinzentius Hospital in Landau and the Catholic College for Social Pedagogy Saarbrücken GmbH (co-sponsored by the cts).

Foundation, endowment

In 2011 the "cts Caritas-Stiftung Saarbrücken" was founded, a legally responsible church foundation under civil law . According to the statutes, the purpose of the foundation is to promote public health care, care for the elderly, youth welfare, assistance for the disabled, hospice work, education and training, science and research, and the promotion of church purposes. In the course of the founding of the foundation, 90% of the shares of the Caritas Association for Saarbrücken and Surroundings eV in the cts were transferred to the newly established “cts Caritas Foundation Saarbrücken”. The foundation sees the support of the establishment of an acute hospice by the cts as a particular concern .
