Santa Bernardina is a city in central Uruguay .
geography
It is located in the southwestern part of the Durazno department in sector 2 . It borders the department capital Durazno in the north and is therefore on the right bank of the Río Yí . To the northeast is Ombúes de Oribe .

Immediately to the east of the village is the Santa Bernardina airport with the air force base Base Aérea Teniente 2 ° Mario W. Parallada of Brigada Aérea II .

Santa Bernadina is the seat of the Frigoyí company , a frozen meat factory ( Frigorífico ).
