Santa Maria de Arnoso is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Santa Maria de Arnoso belongs to the Vila Nova de Famalicão district in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​4 km² and 2003 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013 the municipalities of Arnoso (Santa Maria), Arnoso (Santa Eulália) and Sezures were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Arnoso (Santa Maria e Santa Eulália) e Sezures . Arnoso (Santa Maria) is the seat of this newly formed community.
