Sara Anny Simone Giraudeau (born August 1, 1985 in Boulogne-Billancourt ) is a French actress .

Life

Sara Giraudeau is the daughter of filmmaker Bernard Giraudeau and actress Anny Duperey . Her older brother is the actor and game developer Gaël Giraudeau .

Giraudeau made her screen debut at the age of eleven in the drama Whims of a River - Exile in Africa, directed by her father . At the age of 17 she began an acting training with Jean Périmony. From 2005 she could be seen regularly in different theaters. In 2007 she was awarded the Molière de la révélation théâtrale special prize for her performance in the play La Valse des pingouins , written by Patrick Haudecœur . For her portrayal of Sonia in the published 2015 comedy Les bêtises it was at the presentation of the national film award César 2016 with a nomination as best young actress considered. For her portrayal of Pascale Chavanges in the drama Petit Paysan , directed by Hubert Charuel , she was honored as best supporting actress at the 2018 César Awards.

Giraudeau is in a relationship with the actor Simon Hubert. The couple have two daughters, born in 2011 and 2016.
