César 2016
The 41st César Awards ceremony took place on February 26, 2016 at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris , and the nominations were announced on January 27, 2016. The film prizes awarded by the French Académie des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma are awarded in 21 categories. The French director Claude Lelouch took over the chairmanship of the gala, which changes annually in 2016 . As hostess (maîtresse de cérémonie) for the first time Florence Foresti led through the evening .
The award ceremony was broadcast live on the French television channel Canal + . The American actor Michael Douglas , who will be awarded the honorary award of the French Film Academy, is already the winner before the broadcast . Douglas had already received an honorary césar in 1988.
