Best Actress: Marion Cotillard for La vie en rose

When the nominations were announced on January 25, 2008 by the president of the award ceremony, French actor Jean Rochefort , Olivier Dahan's La vie en rose and Claude Miller's A Secret dominated the award ceremony with eleven nominations each.
