Dana, who wanted to be an actress even as a child, attended the Orléans Conservatory , from which she graduated with honors, and then the École supérieure d'art dramatique in Paris. Director Claude Lelouch appeared as a producer. Convinced of her talent, Lelouch gave her the role of Huguette in his thriller Roman de gare (2007) at the side of Dominique Pinon and Fanny Ardant .
