Claire works as a midwife in a maternity hospital that is about to be closed. In her role and as a single mother, she has already seen a lot from life. Suddenly Béatrice walks back into her life. Béatrice is the cheerful, former partner of Claire's father. Who killed himself after she left him. This strains the relationship between the two women. Despite this circumstance and the opposing personalities of the two, there is a rapprochement. Because Béatrice is sick and has no family to support her.
