Olivier Gourmet
Olivier Gourmet (born July 22, 1963 in Namur , Belgium ) is a Belgian actor .
Life
Olivier Gourmet studied acting at the Conservatoire royal de Liège . During this time he got to know the two Belgian filmmakers Jean-Pierre and Luc Dardenne . He played for her for the first time in their 1996 drama The Promise at the side of Jérémie Renier and Assita Ouedraogo . He also played in Der Sohn , Das Kind , Lornas Schweigen and most recently in Der Junge mit dem Fahrrad . For his performance in The Son , he was 2002 for the European Film Award as Best Actor and for his performance in The promoted for the French film award César as Best Actor nomination.
