The crime series was realized by Måns Mårlind and Björn Stein ( The Bridge - Transit to Death ) based on an idea by executive producers Patrick Nebout and Henrik Jansson-Schweizer.

In the north of Sweden, around the period of the midnight sun , a mysterious murder of a man of French nationality takes place in the mining town of Kiruna . The French policewoman Kahina Zadi is sent to Sweden to help the local police investigate the murder. She has to work with the phlegmatic public prosecutor Anders Harnesk.
