Mount Pearigen is a distinctive and 3020 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises 10 km northwest of Mount Hart in the Admiralty Mountains .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after Lieutenant Commander Jare Max Pearigen (1934-2000), helicopter pilot with Operation Deep Freeze in 1968, 1969 and 1970.
