Iggy Malmborg

Iggy Lond Malmborg (* 1987 in Malmö ) is a Swedish actor .

Career

He was first seen in 2010 in the Swedish-German crime series Mankells Wallender .

2011 followed appearances in the Swedish-Danish-German crime series Die Brücke - Transit in den Tod . He embodied the role of Sören in three episodes.

In 2013 he worked in the Swedish thriller Skumtimmen by director Daniel Alfredson .

He became better known in 2014 in the Swedish film Something Must Break by Ester Martin Bergsmark . The transgender drama won a number of festival awards , and the lead actress was awarded the Guldbagge Prize.

In the same year he was seen at the side of Jella Haase and Félice Jankell in the Swedish-German drama Die Junge Sophie Bell ( original title: Unga Sophie Bell ) directed by Amanda Adolfsson .

This was followed by other small roles in the Swedish short films Flaket (2015) and Mephobia (2017).

In 2016 he was seen in two television series. In the Swedish-French television series Midnight Sun , he played the role of Eddies. The series was broadcast for the first time in Germany on May 27, 2018 on ZDF . He was then seen in the role of Lennie in the Swedish television series Springflut . It is based on the novel Die Springflut (original title: Springfloden ) by Cilla and Rolf Börjlind from 2012.
