Rolf Börjlind (born October 7, 1943 in Västra Skrävlinge , Schonen , Sweden ) is a Swedish author , director and screenwriter .

Life

Börjlind graduated from the Stockholm School of Journalism in 1965 , which has been part of Stockholm University since 1977 . He has worked with Carsten Regild since the late 1960s . The artist Regild contributed artistic drafts for the stenciled art magazine Kulturmagasinet Vargen and Börjlind the texts. The magazine was published in 1974 and 1975. The Vargens förlag publishing house, founded by the two, published art and artist books, among other things.

In 1977 the artists showed the program Persona non grata based on the book title from the same year at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm . In 1979 the program series Panik in Moderna Museet followed with texts by Börjlind, artistic contributions by Regild and the music by Bruno K. Öijer .

In the 1970s Börjlind worked as a copywriter in an advertising agency, since 1980 he has dedicated himself to the film industry as an actor, director, producer and screenwriter and occasionally writes satirical articles for the daily press. The films of the Jönsdonsliga are known from the 1980s, as are the television films about Commissioner Martin Beck from 1976 to 2010 .

Börjlind is a member of the Swedish Dramatists Association .

Börjlind is married to Cilla Börjlind and lives with her in the villa suburb of Storängen in Nacka, west of Stockholm. The couple has published five books with Swedish publisher Norstedts since 2012, all five of which were published in German by btb Verlag in Munich (2013, 2014, 2016, 2018 and 2019).
