action
Maxime is successful at work and in private life: He is married to the beautiful Michèle and they both have a daughter, Camille. He works as a car dealer for luxury cars and runs the MSA Motors sales point in Marseille with his partner Simon . At the 87th Brussels Motor Show, both of them received a Febias Award as Company of the Year. Simon is visited by several men in Brussels who remind him of his debts. He sold them incorrectly standardized cars and is now supposed to replace the damage. Simon makes it clear that he doesn't have the money. A short time later, Simon had an accident with his car, allegedly he fell asleep and the car's airbag had a hole. In reality, Simon was killed by the debt collectors and only then put in the wrecked car.
On the way to the funeral, both Michèle and Maxime are stopped by the men. They make it clear to Maxime that they will appear in his salon the next day and that due to Simon's death he will have to pay for the debt. Shortly afterwards, Maxime finds blood stains and a piece of skin in Simon's apartment. The next day three of the men appear at Maxime, who keeps his shop closed, so they have to leave again. On the phone they later make it clear to him that he owes them 900,000 euros. It turns out that the debt collectors are among others Russians. Maxime wants to get rid of the threat and inaugurates his two brothers Grégoire and Abel. Both have always been unsuccessful professionally; in the end Maxime had refused to give them any financial support. Now he hires both of them as guards to intimidate the men. One of the group, the Finn Matti, appears in the car dealership and takes Grégoire for a test drive. Abel follows, but Matti overpowers Grégoire and drives away in the car. There is a chase that ends in a parking garage. Here Matti and Grégoire fight and Abel finally shoots Matti down. The seriously injured man is brought to Grégoire's farm and given makeshift medical care before the two men lock him in a dog pen. Since Maxime and Michèle are meanwhile threatened with death by Matti's men on the phone, they too flee to Grégoire's farm.
Maxime knows that the money Simon received for the car, which has disappeared so far, could defuse the situation. He finds the money in his shop at night. Meanwhile, Michèle found and freed Matti and then left. On the way back from the car dealership to Grégoire's yard, Maxime sees Matti on the street, stops and thus causes a rear-end collision in which Michèle and her car, among others, are involved without Maxime noticing. Matti can overpower Maxime and flee with his car. Maxime rushes back to Grégoire's farm, where the two brothers, together with him, drive away the men around Matti with the help of Grégoire's dogs. Shortly afterwards, Abel is kidnapped by the gang and Maxime and Grégoire give up. They put the money into the gang's hands, they don't want to endanger Abel's life. Accompanied by Russian women, the gang abducts them into a snowy, wide landscape, where they first expose Grégoire and then devote themselves to Maxime. They let the women shoot him, but Maxime manages to kill one of the women with a pistol. He escapes, in the end shoots Matti and frees Abel. Maxime is shot himself and collapses in the snow.
Grégoire was able to reach the next town and alert the police, who found Abel and the seriously injured Maxime. Maxime loses his business and now works with his brothers. He is sure that he has left part of himself in the white wasteland.
