Wolff von Lindenau (born November 19, 1951 in Wildeshausen ) is a German actor and speaker .

Life

Wolff von Lindenau is the son of a businessman. He first lived in Bremen , then for a few years in Cologne and from the age of 10 he grew up in Berlin-Zehlendorf . There he attended the Waldorf School up to the eleventh grade . Wolff von Lindenau was already very interested in theater as a teenager and was an extra at the Deutsche Oper Berlin for several years .

After his apprenticeship as a window designer and after graduating from the evening high school, the Parisian revue group Les Garçons Terribles hired him . After three years of touring Europe, he attended the Renato Chibolini drama school in Basel for another three years . During his training he already played at the Piccolo Theater , which was attached to the school.

From 1980 to 1985 he was a permanent member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Heilbronn . There he married Susanne Huber , whom he already knew from drama school. The couple had a son in 1981 and a daughter in 1983. In 2000 the marriage was divorced.

Wolff von Lindenau has lived in Frankfurt am Main since 1985 , where he works as a freelancer, mainly at the comedy , the Fritz Rémond Theater and the Frankfurt Volkstheater . Von Lindenau also took part in various television productions. He also dubbed characters for the computer games Gothic II and Gothic 3 .

He also works in various recording studios as a spokesperson for advertising, computer animation and film dubbing.
