Isaak Dentler (born April 18, 1980 in Ulm ) is a German actor , voice actor and theater director .

Life

After training as a bank clerk in Ulm, Isaak Dentler completed his acting training in Hamburg. His first engagement took him in 2004 to the Stadttheater Gießen , where he appeared on stage as Don Karlos and Torquato Tasso, among others .

He has been a permanent member of the Schauspiel Frankfurt ensemble since 2009 , where he worked with directors such as Michael Thalheimer , Stephan Kimmig , Günter Krämer , Christoph Mehler , Andreas Kriegenburg , Karin Henkel , Jürgen Kruse and Sebastian Hartmann . During the artistic direction of Oliver Reese he could be seen in his solo pieces Werthers Leiden and Kohlhaas , and in many other roles such as B. Ivanov , Mortimer , Johannes Vockerat, Prince Leonce , Tesman . Even after Anselm Weber took over the management of Frankfurt in 2018, he remained in the ensemble and worked with Jan Bosse , Robert Borgmann , David Bösch and Roger Vontobel . In addition, he will act as a mentor for the newly created studio year at the Schauspiel Frankfurt and direct. In 2020 Isaak Dentler will be a guest at the Berliner Ensemble in Berlin.

Dentler is regularly in front of the camera, among other things he has been a permanent member of the investigative team around Wolfram Koch and Margarita Broich in the ARD Tatort from Frankfurt since 2014 . He is also active as a speaker, his voice can be heard in numerous radio plays and radio features. In 2016 he became the station voice of ZDF and one of the firm voices of Kulturzeit and Nano on 3sat and ZDF History .

As a freelance lecturer at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts , he takes on teaching assignments.
