Reviews
"Actually excellent (television) tragic comedy about friendship, love and death."
“This bittersweet tragic comedy about the trials and tribulations of life was staged by director Edward Berger [...] based on the script that he wrote together with supporting actor Michael Schenk, who already provided the script for Berger's crime drama 'Windland'. Especially the three main actors Andreas Schmidt, Devid Striesow and Jördis Triebel give this sometimes funny and tragic triangle story with their acting performances the necessary credibility. "
“Seldom have existential issues, including death, been negotiated so easily and carefree in German television films, without becoming irresponsible or even silly. And that although the three protagonists are already doing some very silly things together. "
“It's not just because of the title that you feel reminded of Dresen's balcony threesome with 'A Good Summer' . Laconically and without sledgehammer psychology, the story of the emergence and decay of a relationship trio is also told here; As it were with the summer breeze, bus driver Andi, doctor Hanna and new widower Frieder are blown into an impossible menage-à-trois. Desperately happy, happily desperate: What exactly drives the characters remains hidden for a long time, but the dynamic between them is enormous. "
