Johanna Wehner

Johanna Wehner (* 1981 in Bonn ) is a German director .

Life

Johanna Wehner studied philosophy and German in Bonn and St Andrews , Scotland, and graduated with the state examination. She then studied opera and spoken theater directing at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich . She completed her studies with the world premiere of a play based on the novel Shorter Days by Anna Katharina Hahn at the Schauspiel Stuttgart .

In February 2014 was at the Theater Freiburg its staging of the play offenders from Paul Brodowsky premiered. The review portal nachtkritik.de highlighted the grandiose, well-composed direction by Johanna Wehner.

Johanna Wehner has been senior stage director at the Stadttheater Konstanz since the 2014/2015 season .
