Bertrand Blier
Bertrand Blier (born March 14, 1939 in Boulogne-Billancourt , Hauts-de-Seine ) is a French film director and screenwriter . He is the son of the actor Bernard Blier . His best-known films include The Savvy and The Murderer you meet at the buffet . His film Wife to Give Away was awarded the 1979 Oscar for best foreign language film .
Blier also worked as a writer in later years. So he wrote z. B. the erotic novel “The Lingerie Seller. Confessions of a Murderer ” (Existe en blanc , Paris 1998), which was the first of his books to appear in German in 1999.
