Tetsuo Nagata

Tetsuo Nagata ( Japanese 永田 鉄 男 , Nagata Tetsuo ; * 1952 in Nagano , Japan ) is a Japanese cameraman .

Life

Tetsuo Nagata first moved to France in 1972. With a short stopover in Japan in 1975 to assist the Japanese cameraman Hiroshi Segawa , Nagata worked in French film from 1982. He completed his film studies at the University of Paris . He then worked as a cameraman for commercials and music videos. After making his feature film debut in 1999 with the drama C'est quoi la vie? Nagata was awarded the French César film prize as Best Cinematographer for his work on Die Officierskammer and La vie en rose .
