Michel Blanc
Michel Blanc (born April 16, 1952 in Courbevoie ) is a French actor , screenwriter and director .
Life
In the 1970s, Michel Blanc and his school friends Christian Clavier , Gérard Jugnot and Thierry Lhermitte formed a theater group that became successful under the name Le Splendid and later made several films (including the three films in the Les Bronzés series).
From 1975 onwards Blanc acted in numerous movies and some TV productions, mainly comedies . For some films he was also responsible for directing (for the first time Two Fish on Dry Lands , 1984) and script. For his role in the film Evening Suit , he won the Actor Award at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival , which he shared with British actor Bob Hoskins . At the 1994 Cannes Film Festival , he won the screenplay award for the screenplay for his film Grosse Fatigue .
Both as an actor and as a director, he was nominated several times for the César , which he received in 2012 for the part of the reluctant Chief of Staff Gilles in Pierre Schoeller's political drama Der Aufsteiger as best supporting actor .
