Pierre Deladonchamps
Pierre Deladonchamps (born June 1, 1978 in Nancy ) is a French actor .
Life
Deladonchamps was already playing in an amateur theater at the age of 17. He passed the Baccalauréat littéraire (literature and philosophy), studied English and communication in Nancy and took his first acting lessons from Sandrine Gironde at the MJC Haut-du-Lièvre. From 2001 he attended the Cours Florent drama school in Paris .
Deladonchamps gained his first experience in 2003 as a supporting actor in short films and television series. For lack of roles, he returned to Nancy from Paris in late 2009. Deladonchamps' daughter was born the following year.
His breakthrough as an actor came in the 2013 feature film Der Fremde am See , in which he took on the role of the young homosexual Franck. The sexually permissive film premiered on May 17, 2013 at the Cannes International Film Festival . In 2014, Deladonchamps won a César for Best Young Actor for Der Fremde am See . This was followed by the feature film Une enfance , directed by Philippe Claudel, and the multi-part television series produced by ARTE , Trepalium: City without a Name . Deladonchamps received a second César nomination in 2017 for The Canadian Journey . For his portrayal of the young Mathieu, who goes on a journey to his family roots after the death of his unknown father, he was nominated for the award in the category Best Actor . In 2017, in Nos années folles , directed by André Téchiné, he played the young soldier Paul Grappe, who deserted during World War I and tried to escape the clutches of justice by posing as a woman.
