Rod Paradot (* 1996 in Stains ) is a French film actor .

Life

Paradot was born in 1996 as the only son of a plumber and a domestic servant.

In 2014, the then 18-year-old was given the lead role by Emmanuelle Bercot in the film La tête haute . In the film, Paradot plays the violent and behavioral adolescent Malony, whom a juvenile judge and an educator are trying to save from themselves. La tête haute was the César in 2016 as Best Picture nominated and even Paradot as Best Newcomer Award. Paradot also received an award for Best Young Actor at the 2016 Prix Lumières for his role .

Paradot presented the nominees in the Best Young Actor category at the César 2017 and presented the award to Niels Schneider .
