Diane Rouxel (2016)

Diane Rouxel (born August 14, 1993 in Ambilly ) is a French actress .

Life

Diane Rouxel is the daughter of a couple of architects . Her grandfather, Yves La Prairie, is a former naval officer and founder of the CNEXO institute, from which the French research institute for the use of the oceans emerged. Rouxel spent the first seventeen years of her life, during which she was enthusiastic about photography, painting and plastic art , in Upper Savoy . In 2010 the family moved to Paris. Rouxel completed her final year at the Lycée and her mother now worked as a teacher for handicapped children. The following year she began studying fine arts at the Sorbonne .

However , Rouxel got her first employment in 2014 as a performing artist . Friend of the screenwriter Mathieu Landais, who then wrote the script for The Smell of Us under the pseudonym Scribe , she was given the lead role of Marie in this film by director Larry Clark . Until then she had neither worked on a film nor had theater lessons. But since she is particularly fond of playing controversial roles, she has become a very busy film actress . After two prizes at French film festivals, in 2015 for Fou d'amour and in 2018 for Marche ou crève , she was awarded the Romy Schneider Prize in 2019 .
