Sara Kovac (born September 6, 1997 in Niagara Falls ) is a Canadian volleyball player with Serbian roots.

Career

Kovac played for the Niagara Rapids in her hometown. In 2011 she began her education at Eden High School in St. Catharines . During this time she was also active in athletics . From 2015 to 2018 she studied at Loyola Marymount University and played on the university team Lions. With the Canadian national team she took part in the Canadian national team , the diagonal attacker took part in the Pan American Games in 2019 . She then moved to the Slovenian first division club Volley Nova Gorica . In the 2019/20 season she was the best player on points in both the national league and the MEVZA league. She also played with the club inCEV cup . In 2020, Kovac was signed by the German Bundesliga club Schwarz-Weiss Erfurt .
