Bundesliga

Bundesliga home game of Schwarz-Weiss Erfurt in the Riethsporthalle on February 11, 2017 against VfB Suhl

Already in the 2003/04 season the Erfurt players played in the first Bundesliga, back then under the name TuS Braugold. After relegation to the second division, the club name and the main sponsor (SWE) were changed. In 2010 Erfurt made promotion as champions of the second Bundesliga south and played in the first division in 2010/11. After relegation in 2012 and four years in the second division, he was promoted again in 2016.

Although they were relegated in three seasons in a row (2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19), a first division license could still be granted for the coming season. The main reason is that the respective champions of the 2nd leagues cannot fully occupy the places in the 1st league due to the lack of willingness to advance.

DVV Cup

In the appearances in the DVV-Pokal there have so far been defeats for the Erfurt women without exception: in the 2006/07 season against Dresdner SC with 0: 3, in 2007/08 against VfB 91 Suhl with 0: 3 and again against Dresden in 2009/10 with 1: 3.
