DVV Cup 2009/10
The 2009/10 season in the DVV Cup began with the round of 16 on 28/29. November 2009 and ended with the finals on March 7, 2010 in the Gerry Weber Stadium in Halle . The defending champions were Generali Haching for the men and Rote Raben Vilsbiburg for the women. In the finals, the women of Dresdner SC prevailed 3: 1 against VfB 91 Suhl and the men of defending champion Generali Haching 3: 2 against evivo Düren .

The regional cup winners were determined on October 31 and November 15, 2009. For women, there was an additional qualification on October 10th and 11th, in which the newly promoted Bundesliga teams and the worst teams from last season met. Sonthofen prevailed 3-0 in Lohhof as did Potsdam against Aachen. Sinsheim reached the round of 16 without a fight because of Bayer Leverkusen's withdrawal .
