Sabrina Krause (born December 18, 1998 in Offenburg ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Krause began her sporting career together with her older sisters Kirstin and Katharina in various youth teams at VC Offenburg. In 2010 she moved - also with her sisters - to Schwerin in order to finish her school days at the local sports high school in Schwerin and to play in the junior team VC Olympia Schwerin in the 2nd Bundesliga North . For the 2015/16 season she received a professional contract for the first team of Schweriner SC and was a supplementary player in the middle block. With Schweriner SC she reached the playoff semifinals of the Bundesliga, which was lost to Allianz MTV Stuttgart , and also the semifinals of the CEV Cup . In the 2016/17 season she also played for VC Olympia Berlin with a double right . With the Schweriner SC she became German champion in 2017 and 2018 and won the VBL Supercup . Krause has been playing for the league competitor Schwarz-Weiss Erfurt since 2018 .

Krause was also active for the German national junior team. In 2015, she reached sixth place in the U18 age group at the European Championship and the World Championship. At the U19 European Championships in 2016, she finished seventh with Germany.
