Sara Vickers

Sara Vickers (* 1985 in Strathaven , Scotland ) is a British actress . In the UK she is best known for her supporting roles in television series .

life and career

Sara Vickers grew up in Edinburgh . She studied acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London and graduated in 2010. In 2011 she received an Ian Charleson Award nomination for her role as Annabelle in John Ford's tragedy , Tis Pity She's a Whore . In 2013 she played Alexandra McArthur in the world premiere of Ian Rankin's play Dark Road at the Royal Lyceum Theater in Edinburgh .

Since 2013 she has played the role of Joan Thursday in the television series The Young Inspector Morse .
