Sarah Blake Bateman
Sarah Bateman (* 15. June 1990 in Orlando , Florida , United States ) is one for Iceland launching swimmer .
Bateman grew up in Florida and studies there at the University of Florida . Sarah has Icelandic citizenship through her mother. The swimmer was part of the Icelandic team at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing . She started over 100 m back , where she was eliminated in the preliminary run and reached place 41.
At the 2012 London Games , Bateman reached 32nd place over the 100 m butterfly . She missed the semifinals of the fastest 16 over 50 m freestyle after an elimination swim with two simultaneous competitors. In addition, it was floating in the Icelandic 4 × 100 m layers relay team, which occupied 15th.
