Sarah Marecek (born October 14, 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress .

Life

Sarah Marecek is the daughter of the actor couple Christine and Heinz Marecek . She completed her training from 2004 to 2007 at Rose Bruford College in London. During this time she played in the piece Remassuri at the Mödling Summer Festival in 2005 . In 2008 an acting workshop followed at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy .

So far, she has appeared on television in guest roles in the series SOKO Kitzbühel , Eine wie keine and Die Alpenklinik . She also played the role of mother Hedwig in the movie Men Hearts ... and the very, very big love . In 2011 she was part of the international cast in David Cronenberg's Eine Dunkel Desierde . In 2012 she was in the movie Diaz - Don't Clean Up This Blood by Daniele Vicari. Sarah Marecek lives in Berlin .

Since 2012 Marecek no longer works as an actress and works as a caster in advertising.

In 2018 Marecek lived in South Africa and made her first documentary there, "Waking Stellenbosch", about the protests at Stellenbosch University.
