Sarah Rebecca Robbins (born July 30, 1992 in Montreal , Québec ) is a Canadian soccer player who was last under contract with Portland Thorns FC in the National Women's Soccer League in the 2015 season. In addition to being Canadian, she is also a citizen of the United States .
Career
society
During her studies at the University of Kansas Robbins ran from 2009 to 2012 for the local college team of the Kansas Jayhawks . In parallel, she played from 2009 to 2010 and again from 2012 to 2013, for the W-League - Franchise of the Laval Comets . For the 2014 season Robbins moved to the Finnish first division club Åland United , for whom she also played in the UEFA Women's Champions League and reached the runner-up at the end of the season. In early 2015, she joined NWSL contestant Portland Thorns FC, for whom she made her league debut on April 11th. This was their only mission for the Thorns.
National team
Robbins was called up for the first time in a training camp for the Canadian U-18 national team in 2010 and took part in the 2012 U-20 World Cup two years later . There she was used in all three preliminary round matches.
