Sarawak Badminton Association

The Sarawak Badminton Association is a sports association in the sport of badminton in the state of Sarawak in Malaysia .

history

The association was founded in November 1936 as the Kuching Badminton Association . In October 1954 the association became an associate member of the International Badminton Federation , in July 1956 a full member. In February 1956, the association was renamed to its current name. Until 1964 the association was the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Sarawak . In 1964 he joined the Badminton Association of Malaysia . Linked to this was the task of the national badminton association and the assumption of the duties as the badminton association of the state of Sarawak. The association is based in Kuching.
