The Sarojahöhe or Saroja for short ( 1658 m above sea level ) is an elevation in the Rätikon , which is located on the border between Austria and Liechtenstein . The survey is on the Vorarlberg side in the Piramida parcel (also: Hahnaneggle ).
location
The Sarojahöhe is a rather inconspicuous elevation. This is completely overgrown with grass on the Austrian side. On the Liechtenstein side, the mountain range drops off relatively steeply.
The Three Sisters, the Sattelköpfle and the Sarojahöhe form part of the border between Liechtenstein and Austria .
Adjacent peaks
Northwest of the Sarojahöhe, about 300 meters as the crow flies, on the Vorarlberg side is the parcel Ruijerhöhe ( 1626 m above sea level ) and about 650 meters away Frastanzer Sand at 1646 m above sea level. A. From the Liechtenstein side, the Wissa Fels can be seen in the vicinity .
In the south, about 600 meters as the crow flies, is located in the parcel saddle Forest the Sattelköpfle ( 1688 m above sea level. A. ), the Sarojasattel ( 1626 m above sea level. A. ) is about 850 meters, and the three sisters ( 2053 m above sea level. A. ) about 1700 meters.
In the west (Liechtenstein), about 800 meters away, is the Gafaduraalpe with the Gafadurahütte .
hike
The closest hiking bases are the Feldkircher Hütte ( 1204 m above sea level ) and the Gafadurahütte ( 1428 m above sea level ) and the Sarojahöhe is easily accessible on foot from the Vorarlberg side from the Sarojaalpe (also called Hinterälpele ) to the southeast (about 500 meters as the crow flies, about 180 meters in altitude ).
The entire area around the Sarojahöhe requires surefootedness, a head for heights and alpine equipment with good mountain boots. When it is wet and frosty, special care is required on grassy slopes.
