Sarp Palaur (born November 9, 1987 in Istanbul ), called Şanışer , also Şanışer Methüsena , is a Turkish rapper.

life and work

He attended elementary and middle school in Istanbul. He then lived in Antalya . In 2005 he started studying tourism management at the Muğla University .

From 2007 he presented his music on the Internet, in 2008 his first album Ludovico was released , which was followed by six more. The last published Şanışer 2018 (as of January 2020). He put together the YouTube video Susamam (German: I can't be silent ), in which he himself and 19 of his colleagues criticized the social conditions in Turkey under Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in 2019 . The participating singers are Fuat , Ados , Hayki , Server Uraz , Beta , Tahribad-ı İsyan , Sokrat St , Ozbi , Deniz Tekin , Sehabe , Yeis Sensura , Aspova , Defkhan , Aga B , Mirac , Mert Şenel and Kamufle . The video lasts 14:54 minutes, was uploaded on September 5, 2019 and reached more than 20 million views in the first week after publication. It shows a gloomy picture of the country, corruption , abused women, brutal police, a destroyed environment, censorship .
