Satoshi Taira ( Japanese 平 聡 , Taira Satoshi ; born July 16, 1970 in Iwate Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Taira learned to play football on the school team at Morioka Commercial High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract in 1993 with Tohoku Electric Power (Brummell Sendai, Vegalta Sendai). For the club he completed 66 games. He then played with the Morioka Zebra (2000-2003) and Nippon Steel Kamaishi SC (2004). At the end of 2004 he ended his career as a soccer player.
