Yū Kawamura ( Japanese 河村 優 , Kawamura Yū ; born December 1, 1980 in Shizuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kawamura learned to play soccer on the school team at Fujieda Higashi High School . He signed his first contract in 1999 with Consadole Sapporo . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2000 he became champions of the J2 League with the club. For the club he completed 13 games. In 2001 he was loaned to league competitor Mito HollyHock . For the club he completed 40 games. In 2002 he was loaned to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . For the club he played eight games. In 2003 he returned to Consadole Sapporo . He then played for Okinawa Kariyushi FC (2004) and Shizuoka FC (2005-2009). At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
