Seyed Sattar Seid (born November 26, 1987 in Karaj ) is an Iranian cross-country skier .

Career

Seyed Sattar Seid has mainly competed in FIS races since 2007 . At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , he reached 89th place over 15 km freestyle. His best placement at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Oslo in 2011 was 85th place over 15 km classic. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme , he finished 98th in the sprint. He ran his first World Cup race in February 2014 in Toblach , which he finished classically with 77th place over 15 km. At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi , he finished 79th over 15 km classic. In February 2015 he achieved 94th place in the sprint and 80th place in the 15 km freestyle at the 2015 Nordic World Ski Championships in Falun . At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2017 in Lahti he came in 108th place in the sprint and 78th place over 15 km classic. The following year he ran at the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang on 91st place over 15 km freestyle and 76th place in sprint.
