Sauber Energie (full name SE SAUBER ENERGIE GmbH & Co. KG ) is the amalgamation of six municipal and municipal utilities to form a joint energy supply company .

The Stadtwerke-Verbund sells green electricity from 100% hydropower , "green gas" with corresponding CO 2 compensation and regional forest subsidies, and "gas bio" with a different proportion of biogas .

Because Innogy is a partner in rhenag (66.67%) and medl GmbH (39%) and rhenag in turn is a partner in BEW Bergische Energie- und Wasser-GmbH, Maingau Energie GmbH, e-regio GmbH & Co. KG and Siegener Betriebsbetriebe GmbH, Innogy indirectly holds a stake of over 30%.

Utility

The Sauber Energie shareholder group supplies electricity and gas to over 500,000 private households and, together with commercial customers, a total of 17 billion kWh.
