Sauce de Batoví , also known as Sauce del Batoví , is a town in Uruguay .
geography
Sauce de Batoví is located in the northern part of Uruguay in the Tacuarembó department in sector 3 . The place is a few kilometers south of the capital Tacuarembó and Paso Bonilla on Cerro Batoví . The area stretching a few kilometers to the east is called Cuchilla de Salvañach . The closest town to the west is Tambores . The Arroyo Sauce de Batoví flows south of the village .
Infrastructure
Not far to the west, the Ruta 5 passes Sauce de Batoví.
Residents
At the 2011 census, the population of Sauce de Batoví was 133, of which 63 were male and 70 were female. The Instituto Nacional de Estadística de Uruguay did not collect any data for the previous censuses in 1963, 1975, 1985 and 1996 .
