Savage Ridge is a 4 km long mountain ridge on the Scott Coast of East Antarctica, Victoria Land . It rises in a north-south orientation 800 m west of the Weidner Ridge on the northwest slope of Mount Morning .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 1994 after the US meteorologist Michael L. Savage from the University of Wisconsin , who was involved in the construction of automatic weather stations in Antarctica from 1980 to 1986 .
