Savane River (also: Savanne River ) is a river on the east coast of Dominica in the Parish of Saint Patrick .

geography

The Savane River rises with two source streams on the southern slope of Foundland , in the summit area. Nearby springs belong to the source streams of the Rivière Blanche (Dominica) (O) and Ravine Cacao (W). The two main spring streams run to the south-east, still join at a height of 600  m ( ) and are directed further south through the foothills of Foundland. In the area where the coastal road runs, at an altitude of 300  m , the river loops in large loops before finding its way east, past Petite Savane , through the areas of En Barquer , Davi and Logiste . Then it flows into the Atlantic in Petite Savane Bay .

The nearest neighboring river to the west is the Malabuka River .
