The Savant Lake (also Lake Savant ) is a lake in Thunder Bay District in the western Canadian province of Ontario .
The 40 km long lake is west of Wabakimi Provincial Park . The lake has an area of approximately 100 km². The place of the same name Savant Lake is 15 km south of the lake. The Savant River drains the lake at its northern end. It flows over the Pashkokogan River to the Albany River .
The lake is popular for fishing. The following types of fish are caught in the lake: eyeglasses , pike , American char and herring vendace .
