Savia is the name of a Spanish band.
history
The band of Carlos Escobedo, the singer of Sôber , and his former drummer and guitarist Alberto Madrid in 2005 in Madrid founded shortly after the dissolution of the band Sôber. Carlos Escobedo's brother Jorge founded the metal band Skoo at the same time . The band was joined by Jésus Pulido, who plays the bass guitar and is responsible for the backing vocals, as well as guitarists Fernando Lamoneda and José Pereira, who replaced Alberto Madrid on drums. Alberto left Savia shortly after it was founded. In 2005 their debut album Insensible was released and just a year later the band released their second studio album, Savia . 2008 came with Fragileher third studio album on the market. In 2006 the former drummer Alberto Madrid died after a traffic accident. In 2007 the band released Savia as a deluxe edition .
Lyrics and music
The lyrics are almost identical to the subject matter of Sôber , but the songs are partly set to music in English. The band also writes their own lyrics. Another characteristic of the band is their strong musical structures.
