Albert Jarrett (born October 23, 1984 in Freetown ) is a Sierra Leonean football player .
Career
society
Jarrett grew up in South London , England . The 185 centimeter tall winger started his career as an Arsenal junior, but when he was not offered a professional contract in the summer of 2003, he went to city rivals FC Wimbledon . He played 10 games for the "Dons" in the 2003/2004 season, but his contract was not renewed after the season. He then moved to Brighton & Hove Albion .
In his two years on the South Coast, Jarrett made 25 games for the Seagulls, but was also loaned out twice: to Stevenage Borough (March 2005) and Swindon Town (January 2006).
At the end of the 2005/2006 season, he switched to Watford FC on a trial basis . After Jarrett had convinced in a few friendlies during the summer break, the Watford officials signed a one-year contract with him on August 16, 2006.
Since then he has played a league game for Watford; he was substituted on for the Bolton Wanderers . In February 2007 he was loaned to Boston United for a month ; when he returned from the north he was immediately sent on to the Milton Keynes Dons for the remainder of the season . On May 22, 2007, his contract was finally terminated. After an injury break, Jarrett played for Gillingham FC from 2008 to 2009 and for Barnet FC the following season . From 2010 to 2011 he was under contract with Lincoln City in the fourth-rate Football League Two , in early 2011 he was loaned to Aldershot Town for two months . After relegation from Lincoln City , he moved in the summer of 2011, he was initially without a club. In November 2011 he was hired by Lewes FC in the Isthmian League , but left the club in early 2012 after four appearances and joined Bromley FC in the National League South . He played there until 2014, when he missed promotion with his team in the play-offs. He then moved to Sutton United , before Dulwich Hamlet FC brought him to the Isthmian League in early September 2014 . There he fought with his team in the following seasons for promotion, but failed in the play-offs.
National team
Despite his ongoing failures in England, Jarrett was appointed to the Sierra Leone national team for the first time on September 30, 2006 and has so far appeared twice.
In January 2006, the winger was involved in a traffic accident that caused a man to be hospitalized. Jarrett's license was revoked for half a year and his sentence was 1,400 pounds (about 2,100 euros).
